At least three vehicles in Greater Manchester were involved in the brand-new con.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson enunciated:" When we receive each of these reports of any incident, we assess the immediate menace, trauma and danger to the public and allocate detectives and natural resources accordingly .
" We do this with full consideration of all the rivalling requests that we may be facing at that particular time and a decision is then compiled on how to respond .
