CON ARTISTS are using eBay to sell cloned vehicles and con buyers out of thousands of pounds, a BBC investigation has noticed .

Thieves are supposedly exerting auctioneer area eBay to sell embezzled vehicles for the purposes of the name of a lawful vehicle, the BBC has witnessed .

Con craftsmen- dubbed" scum of the earth" by one casualty- have scammed eBay customers out of thousands of pounds .
At least three vehicles in Greater Manchester were involved in the brand-new con.
One victim, a retired police officer, was conned out of PS17, 000 to purchase a Mercedes from a dealer in Rochdale .

Former copper Graham Murray reported the incident to the police, but adds no action has been made. The crimes have still not get caught .
Speaking to the BBC, Mr Murray read:" The police have known about this syndicate since January .

An eBay spokesman confirmed to the BBC that the accounts in question had been closed down and contributed:" Cash on collect is very unusual and we were able to expect customers to always offer via the pulpit when purchasing ."
