An eBay spokesman confirmed to the BBC that the accounts in question had been closed down and added:" Cash on collecting is very unusual and we would expect purchasers to always pay via the scaffold when purchasing ."
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman announced:" When "weve received" each of these reports of any happen, we assess the immediate menace, trauma and jeopardy to the public and allocate police and resources accordingly .
